A nice cosy flat tucked away from the road, it offers a nice, sheltered back yard with plenty of trees, perfect for reading in the hammock or soaking up some rays. Whare is 1 minute walk from township, 2 minutes walk from Te Wānanga o Raukawa, and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Countdown, Library, Cafes, Postshop/Kiwibank, MāoriLand and bus stops all within a minutes walk. Would be ideal for a Tauira at the Wānanga, or a mature individual looking to rent and save money.

The room is a decent sized room, capable of fitting a double or queen bed, with room left for other furnishings. Currently there is a Clothes Garment Rack and drawers in room, happy to furnish the room with what I can to help with the transition in. The room probably sees the most sun, and sits away from the kitchen and bathroom, providing some privacy and quiet when needed.

Ideal person speaks Te Reo Māori or beginning their journey in te reo Māori, as the whare is a reo Māori speaking whare. Although not a must, would be great if someone who also enjoys yard work and tending to the gardens etc. My nephews are regular visitors and the ideal flatmate would manaaki these taonga and tautoko their reo.
