Flatmates in Canterbury

Self sustained unit, flat, studio. Or bedroom with own bathroom.

My husband and I are moving to Christchurch around 3 December and are looking for a clean and comfortable ensuite room to rent in the following areas: Riccarton, Upper Riccarton, Ilam, Avonhead, Bryndwr, Burnside, or Fendalton. A little about us: • I’m about to begin a PhD at the University of Canterbury and my husband is research fellow at the University of Auckland • We’re both mature, calm, respectful, and tidy people who value a quiet and friendly home environment. • We’re non-smokers and spend most of our time studying, working, or outdoors exploring. We’re ideally looking for a long-term place, but we’re happy to start with a short-term rental while we get settled and confirm the best fit. If you have a suitable ensuite room available, or know someone who might, we’d really appreciate hearing from you.

I’m looking for a clean, quiet, and respectful flat where everyone gets along. I’d prefer a non-smoking home with tidy flatmates. I’m happy to help keep shared spaces clean and peaceful. Ideally, the rent would be around $200 per week, including all utilities and Wi-Fi, and furnished would be preferable. I’d like to move in from the September. Location-wise, somewhere not too far from the city or with good public transport access would be great!

We are looking for a room around Christchurch, up to 400-450 per week. We have a car so we would like to have somewhere to park it freely. We are really easy to live so we don’t have any requirements, except living with nice people! 😊

We are third-year Medical Laboratory Science students in Christchurch for placement.
