Flat mate Wanted – Cozy Cottage Vibes in Northcote Point

Our flat mate is off on a sailing adventure, so her room is up for grabs !

The house itself is a charming, cottage-style home with great flow—open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area leading onto a sunny back deck and courtyard, perfect for alfresco dining, workouts, or just unwinding. In winter, we love an occasional chat over a wine or hot chocolate by the log fireplace.

The Location – A Hidden Gem Northcote Point is one of Auckland’s best-kept secrets—surrounded by bays, parks, nature reserves, and quaint cafés, plus an old-world cinema and a wine bar just down the road. Getting around is easy—we have one undercover park, free street parking, and the bus or ferry gets you to the city in 12 minutes (same for Takapuna Beach!).

The room is well laid out, cozy and currently fully furnished with plenty of room to move. The space includes a wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, bedside table, and lamp. You can also bring your own furniture if preferred. .

You’re welcome to use the furniture provided or bring yours to make it your own.

Single $250 plus bills

We’re looking for someone friendly, tidy, and respectful to join our relaxed and positive home. You’re ideally working full-time or studying, enjoy a good chat but also value downtime. Clean and considerate in shared spaces, drama-free, and pays rent on time. Bonus if you’re social but not a party animal — we love a flat dinner or wine now and then but keep things chill during the week.
