Flatmates in Auckland

We are looking for a friendly space, preferably a room that has an attached washroom. We are a Bangladeshi couple. One person will be pursuing her PhD in UoA, and another will be on a work visa. We are a tidy, clean, and friendly couple.

I’m looking for a comfy, relaxed place to rent in the Albany or Silverdale area of Auckland. A friendly, casual owner would be ideal — one who values open communication rather than formalities. Close access to public transport (bus stops or stations) is important, as I’ll be commuting around. I don’t mind sharing with another flatmate, but I’d prefer to have my own bathroom if possible. If it’s a homestay situation, that works too — I’ll be away most of the week for my student-pilot training, so I’d keep to myself and won’t be a disturbance. A quiet spot where I can study in peace, plus somewhere chill to relax when I’m home, is exactly what I need. Thanks for considering!
