One furnished (or unfurnished, whichever you prefer) room available in our sunny two-story house. The house is very spacious, with a large modern kitchen and a big lounge area downstairs. We also have a fairly large garden. Your room has nice big windows, so not too hot during the summer, as well as plenty of natural light. The other flat mates are respectful and quite, but also very welcoming and friendly. We have two male students, and two female professionals, as well as one cute old cat that keeps mostly to herself. The neighborhood (Westmere) is super safe and full of life, with the Westmere shops only a 5 min walk away, where you can find cafes, restaurants, bus- stops (CBD is only 15-20 min by bus), and even a butcher. If you're a beach person, there is Pt Chev beach only about 5-10 min by car, or you also have quick access to the Northshore with the motorway not far either.

The size of the room is small/medium, located downstairs. One of the bathrooms (which you will share with 2 other people) and the lounge area are downstairs, so easily accessible, and the kitchen is upstairs. The room has a bed, bedding, and a large wardrobe. It has big windows facing onto a garden/entrance area, so you have plenty of natural light, especially in the afternoons. With the kitchen being upstairs, downstairs is usually very chill and calm. Costs for bills (electricity, water, internet) are roughly $25-30 per month, usually less during the summer.

Our ideal flat mates is someone friendly, reliable, considerate, and importantly, cleans after themselves in the common areas of the house. We also prefer someone reasonably quiet (ie., has good understanding of appropriate noise level in a shared flat) and hopefully long-term.
