About the flat
Periodic tenancy
Utilities are an additional $25/week.
This is a 3 bedroom flat with a large open plan living room and kitchen on the ground floor, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the second floor, and a third bedroom and ensuite on the top floor. Centrally located in Te Aro, it is only a few minutes walk from New World and just around the corner from Moore Wilson. Despite its central location, it's relatively peaceful and quiet as the street does not get much traffic.
The building is modern and well-maintained, with large double glazed windows in all rooms, looking out onto a central courtyard with small gardens. The complex has a gate with a pin code, providing extra security.
The common area is fully furnished with couches, stools, table, storage units, laundry, and all the necessary kitchen appliances, utensils and dishes.
There are two existing flatmates. We have both been living here for over two years and really love the place. It's warm, dry, has a really nice layout and is in a super convenient location. We're friendly and communicative people, and will often catch up in the common area while cooking dinner or having our morning coffee. We've both been flatting for many years and know how to respect each other's space and clean up after ourselves. We each have friends around occasionally, for shared meals, games or movie nights, which all flatmates are welcome to join.
About the room
The room is unfurnished with a large wardrobe. It comfortably fits a queen size bed, desk, chair and other small furniture items.
You will be sharing the bathroom with only one other person (Dana) as the upstairs bedroom has an ensuite. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and drawers for storage.
Preferred flatmate
Ideally we would like to find someone who is keen to stay long-term, who is responsible, independent and easy going.

Meet the flatmates
As a flatmate, I value open communication and I like to get to know the people I'm living with. I like a balanced mix of social time and alone time, and generally like to maintain a clean, calm and peaceful environment at home.
I work full time (weekdays) in government. I keep pretty active in my spare time, usually at the climbing gym or the Circus Hub. When I'm at home, you'll often find me reading or painting.
I work full time (weekdays) in design in marketing. My hobbies include running, hiking and photography. I'm clean, tidy and organised. I like having some time to myself, but I'm always keen for a chat in the kitchen.
