This 2 bedroom house in Shirley was a 90s build, and has been recently renovated (brand new kitchen, new carpet/vinyl tiles throughout, newly painted in most rooms, new shower). It's super warm and cosy, and very sunny with a great outdoor space.

Great location; a 15min walk from the Palms, an even shorter walk to the new Marshlands super centre, and a handful of bus stops in the area. There's also plenty of parking on the quiet street if you have a car.

A bit about me: I'm an early 30s woman, I'm queer/asexual (this is a rainbow friendly flat!) and I'm a bit of a homebody. I like playing video games, reading, vege gardening, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends. And because apparently I'm a cliché, I have two cats (Artemis and Loki) - so no other pets sorry. I have a few health issues, so I'm looking for someone who likes to relax and recharge at home rather than party it up - I don't mind a drink now and then, but this is very much a cosy vibes home :)

The room fits a queen sized bed (and depending on where you put the bed / how big it is, would probably also fit a desk). There's a built in wardrobe with hanging space and a shelf. The room for rent is unfurnished but I do have some spare furniture in the garage if you're needing a set of drawers or a bedside cabinet. You'll have to provide your own bed.

Bond is two weeks rent, other costs (internet/power) are split equally each month. I do occasionally get in a cleaner/gardener to help keep on top of things (max cost would be $50/month, and that's only when it's actually needed to get them round).

Applicants must be working, tidy, reliable and considerate. Bonus points if you're a bit of a nerd and we can geek out about stuff! Couples will be considered, but rent price would be adjusted accordingly. No smokers sorry.
