About the flat

🌸 Looking for a Flatmate – Come Join Our Home in Herne Bay!

Hey there! We’re four friends living together in a cozy, fully furnished 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in beautiful Herne Bay - and we’re looking for one more lovely person to join our little household.

🏡 About the house: This spacious home is fully kitted out - you’ll just need to bring your suitcase and your own linen. It’s spacious, full of natural light, and has a great flow for both quiet time and shared moments. There’s a big sunny deck and a grassy backyard that’s perfect for morning coffee, yoga, or just lounging in the sun. One of our favourite things about the place is that it looks out over Cox’s Bay Reserve, so you’ll wake up to birdsong and enjoy green views every day.

📍Where we are: We’re tucked away on a quiet, no-exit street in Herne Bay—so it’s super private and calm, but still really close to everything. Ponsonby and Jervois Roads (with all the best cafes, eateries, and shops) are just around the corner, and the CBD and public transport are only a short trip away. Super handy if you work in town or just like being close to the action.

👫 Who we are: We’re a group of friends in our late 20s and early 30s who enjoy living in a warm, welcoming, and social home. Some of the things we enjoy together include acroyoga, dancing, cooking, and spending time in nature. We often share meals and activities, but also respect each other's space and routines.

About the room

The room is upstairs and gets lots of natural light - it’s warm, quiet, and has a really peaceful feel to it. It already has a comfy king single bed and a built-in wardrobe, so there's good storage and still plenty of space to make it your own. You'll be sharing a bathroom with just one other person, and it’s right nearby - so no long waits in the morning! Around the house, we’ve got fast unlimited Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry with a washer and dryer.

Preferred flatmate

💛 Who we’re hoping to find: Someone kind, considerate, and who’s keen to be part of a friendly, relaxed household. We do love the occasional dinner with friends, music in the kitchen, and spontaneous weekend adventures. Whether you’re new to Auckland, in between places, or just looking for a good energy home - you’re welcome here.

If this sounds like your vibe and feels like it could be your next home, we’d love to meet you and show you around! 🌼
