About the flat
15 minute bus ride or 10 minute drive to the city, 10 minute walk to the Newtown shops.
Internet is $110 per month so $27.50 if split 4 ways. We do shared cooking where we each cook one night a week, but happy if you would rather do your own thing. We love hanging out in the lounge and chatting or watching tv but also enjoy our own space. Not a party flat but happy to have people over for potlucks and quiet drinks. We have a coffee machine and it's awesome!!! And we have an office if you like to work from home! If you have a car, we have a carpark available. The house also has an HRV system (so clean fresh air!).
About the room
We are looking for a couple ($400 for rent and power per week) or a baller single ($380 for rent and power per week) to move into our home in Newtown. The room comes with an ensuite and has a sliding door out to a small garden which we honestly don't do much with so if you like gardening, this could be for you!! Our landlord is lovely and gets anything fixed straight away. She also never does flat inspections because she lives up north and she's always said she wants this to be a home!
Preferred flatmate
Our ideal flatmates would be people that pay rent and expenses on time, love having a chat and spending time in the lounge in the evenings. Not a deal breaker though.

You will be living with Kat (28 turning 29 ahhh!) who works 3 jobs and let's face it, probably has undiagnosed ADHD. She owns her own business and also works at the university as an admin troll and at a restaurant so she can make her dreams come true! She loves music, art and creativity and she's also a pretty good cook so maybe you want to get in on that shared cooking action. She also has a whole library of books that you're welcome to read if you like YA and/or fantasy novels.
You will also be living with Geo who is 25. They work as a barber in town whilst studying a bachelor of counselling at Whitireia. Not only can they give you a fresh trim if you need, but if you have a car that is having problems, they are more than happy to take a look at it as cars are one of their hobbies alongside kickboxing/fitness, music, reading and going to the beach! Absolutely loves a chat about anything but also enjoys downtime too.
