Historical/Hysterical 3 level house in Newtown. Near to the hospital, Newtown goodness, and across the road from Woolworths. Walking distance to town. There's bus stops close by, which is super handy and the buses run regularly. There is no car park with the house.

The room is upstairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. It has a double bed, dressing table, writing table, mirror, shelves and cupboard - but these can be recyled if you've got your own furniture.

The house is filled with lots of art collections and, occasionally, artists/activists/musicians/performers/whanau. There's a guitar, ukelele and fabulous taonga puoro to play with. If you play an instrument, BONUS!

There's a private, fenced off back yard with a pool we blow up in summer! But don't get too excited about the pool or summer. There's a big, beautiful bath for when you need to relax and soak away your day. It featured in a posh magazine article. Must have been a slow news day.

Rent includes power and internet. NOT SUITABLE for a couple, pets, someone with a heart condition, racists or a national supporter.

There's a TV with capacity to watch DVDs (yes I own some, I'm ancient) and if you've got a wireless HDMI for streaming, perfect. There's two windows that open out to a beautiful view of the side street or look higher to the Governor Generals trees and rooftop flag.
