About the flat
It is a three bedroom house with one room available to rent. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, utensils, slow cooker, fridge freezer with extra freezer also. Within walking distance to Sylvia Park, train station, supermarkets, bus stations and more.
We have a back yard with bbq, outdoor seating, lots of plants, encourage bird and bee life.
I like walks with my dogs, a large variety of music, listening to podcasts, cooking, baking and other craft and DIY projects occasionally.
This is not a party house and visitors do need to be limited/discussed prior as the dogs need to be comfortable with who is in the home. Once they know you they will love you and protect you.
I try to keep the house tidy and clean but due to two large dogs it will have a slight doggy vibe to it eg hair etc. They sometimes rip up their soft toys so sometimes there is a mess (but never your shoes or clothing etc).
About the room
It is a small room (can fit a double bed maximum) with double wardrobe. You have your own bathroom with shower over bath, it’s not actually an ensuite but pretty much is as it is one metre from your room and yours alone.
Room can be provided furnished or unfurnished depending on your requirements. If requested to be furnished you will have the choice of double bed, bedside table, lamp, writing desk, TV with chromecast and drawers that fit in wardrobe.
The cost includes power, water, unlimited wifi (sensible and reasonable use applies)
Preferred flatmate
A woman who loves animals but does not have their own currently (unfortunately the dogs are not great with cats or rabbits etc). Someone down to earth, relaxed, good communicator and peaceful nature. Appreciates a private, safe and respectful home.
If you work from home I would be open to look at making you a workspace in the third bedroom.
Must be mature enough to do fair share of household cleaning such as vacuuming and other cleaning tasks without a roster although I don’t expect you to clean up after us at all.

Meet the flatmates
I am a NZ lady in my 30’s. Friends and family would describe me as friendly, helpful and that I love to cook. If you’re a foodie we will get along great. I enjoy sharing the odd meal with a flatmate and a glass of wine at the end of a day. I also enjoy gardening and a various projects.
My two large dogs and I live within walking distance to Sylvia Park, train stations, bus depot, Panmure basin. New flatmate would have to be comfortable with large dogs and give off a peaceful vibe. The dogs are allowed on the sofa! A female would work best and they are very protective of the home so if you feel like being part of the pack let’s meet up for a walk and see if we get along.
I like open, honest communication - if we don’t like what the other is doing in some way we need to be able to talk about it - living with others there can be little habits that annoy the other person and that’s okay if we can talk and work our way around it.
Student and work from home is also welcome but must have some form of income. Room can come furnished or unfurnished - it’s up to you. Prefer that you provide your own sheets.
Two dogs who will make you feel very safe once you’re part of the household.
