About the flat
The house is in a super quiet area, close to the beach and hills. You can only hear the birds and the wind. I'm located in Mt Pleasant (not the city as the map suggests).
The flatmate owns the house and works from home. I love to watch movies, listen to music, read books, hike, walk, swim and cook delicious food. I'm a strong environmentalist - so I take short showers, recycle, and visit farmers' markets!
About the room
Two rooms are available. One is a smaller room ($240 with Queen bed and drawers only. This includes all bills.
One medium-sized room: $255 for the Queen bed, drawers, wardrobe, and desk. This includes all bills.
Preferred flatmate
- Is out of the house during workday hours (8 - 4 pm, 9 - 5 pm).
- Independent (has their own friends)
- Loves to be active (hiking, etc) or exploring Christchurch and beyond in their evenings and weekends.
- Parents and one child (over 5 years) are welcome. Additionally, those new to the country are seeking boarding arrangements (including an evening meal).

Kia ora, I own my own home, surrounded by nature. Yet, within a 2-minute walk to the bus stop that goes to Ara, Riccarton and Russley. Walk a further 15 minutes, and get a bus to the University of Canterbury. If you love walking, running, biking. This is the place for you. If you are looking for a safe area, this is the place for you.
