Flat in Pakuranga

$170 per week added on 25 Mar
Location: Auckland
Rooms: 3 bedrooms
Flatmates: 1 other flatmate
Parking: Uncovered parking

My flatmate will stay with his family's friends during the lock-down because his salary was reduced during this time and it's free at his family's friends, so his room is vacant and available during the lock-down.

Room available to someone who is stuck for a place to stay during the lock-down and, pending my flatmate's return date, slightly after that as well. The move-in date is any day from now. The move-out date will be at the end of the lock-down, or a bit after that.

Ideal flatmate:
Respectful, quiet, and sociable people, preferably gay but if not then definitely LGBT friendly
Reliable and trustworthy, pays in full on time every time
Someone who needs temporary accommodation during the lock-down period (level 4 alert)
Non-smokers, for everyone's health
Singles only - no couples
Willing and keen to keep the house clean and tidy - clean up whatever mess you make and share the chores
Local professionals who are stuck for a VALID reason, or travelers who are stuck due to lack of flights
At least 18 years old - ideally 21 or older
Fully compliant with New Zealand law and Auckland Bylaws - so that means absolutely no illegal substances on the property at all

The house:
Double storey, two bathrooms
Two uncovered car parking spaces, two car parking spaces under an old carport – small car, please
Shared driveway with the neighbours
New curtains, new dryer, almost new washing machine, new kitchen
Room has door lock
Lounge has leather furniture, heat pump, and 55inch smart TV
Kitchen is almost brand new, renovated only a couple of months ago, has two fridges

The deal:
Move in costs only two weeks' rent, pay rent weekly on Sundays after that
Room is upstairs, north facing, approximately 11sq.m, and has typical Kiwi cupboard
$170 / week
Share bills for water, electricity, and wifi calculated pro-rata on dates
Share chores
Room has a fairly new double bed and, although missing from the photos, also has bedside tables and lamps
I work from home so will need quiet times, but you'd be welcome to play music or watch TV

The area:
Quiet residential area
Countdown is within walking distance, and Pak&Save are at Sylvia Park Mall and Botany Town Centre
Doctors and dentists within walking distance or a very short drive away
Pharmacy is within walking distance

The rules:
Only one over-riding house rule: Do what's right! You can do it! I know you can!
All other rules are based on that.
No pets. No drugs (until legalised). No smoking.
