About the flat
Cheerful 2 story Victorian house that’s super close to the Aro Valley shops, CBD, bush trails and nature and to Victoria University. Upstairs is kitchen off deck, separate living room, my bedroom and shared main bathroom (with shower over bath). Room for flatmate downstairs at street level with a separate entrance and a toilet/basin.
There’s heating upstairs and downstairs.

About the room
Large downstairs room with wooden floorboards and 2 windows (with wooden blinds) and a walk in closet/storage area. Rented furnished with a comfortable bed (bedding available as well and towels etc), desk, chair, lamp, bedside table etc. There’s a tiny separate room (with toilet and hand basin) off the entryway just used for this bedroom. Also private entrance just used for this part of the house and bedroom.
Preferred flatmate
Someone looking for short term over December/jan and who likes a cat.

Well traveled, back in the year from living in Spain. Work in mental health services. Friendly and easy to get along with. My house is super close to the Aro Valley shops, the CBD, bush walking tracks and nature, and to Victoria University. My usual lovely flatmate will be away for almost 2 months in Dec 2025/Jan 2026 and I’m looking for sometime during that time.
He’s almost 2 years and been living with us the last year since he found us from the SPCA. He’s a sweetie who really enjoys being around humans.
