I am a politics/theology student coming to study for a year on exchange at Auckland University from Glasgow, Scotland from July this year (beginning of second semester). I am am an active and friendly (I hope!) person, hardworking and passionate about what I want to do with my life. I am hoping to do as much as possible while im in New Zealand and get involved with lots of activities etc. There is no point coming halfway around the world if I don't learn! Currently I am involved in debating, dancing, volunteering for a fair trade group and urban youthwork. I enjoying chatting about politics (as the degree may entail), history, ethics and world issues....as well as films, games and sometimes shoes. I have a silly passion for boardgames and fun, and enjoy long nights chilling in the pub and spontaneous hikes!
I am looking to live with good and mature people who live a balanced lifestyle, and are chatty and friendly. I am a commited Christian, and regular church-goer but I have always lived with non-Christians before, and there have never been problems. I am relatively clean and tidy (even for a student!), and very respectful of other people's space. I have travelled a lot before and I'm very independant, but I would still like home to be a home, and make some good friends in my flatmates!
Concerning price, the cheaper the better really but I understand I will need to compromise on price to live near the University campus. i do not drive so will need a place walking/cycling/bus distance form the main University.
If you would like to live with me (I can throw in a free Scottish dance lesson or bring you a haggis!) please do not fail to contact me, or pass my details on to anyone you know.
Thanks
