About the flat

Warm, sunny 5 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms.
We're a German/Austrian couple and a Canadian nurse using only half of the bedrooms. Garden with BBQ, greenhouse, potting shed and vegetable garden.
Looking for a single ($220) or couple ($330). We have two bathrooms, so a couple could have their own or a single would share with one other person. There are two bedrooms and a bar/pool room (no pool table, sorry!) free for someone to use. Rent is just per person (as above) and we'll just work out between us what the best use of rooms in the house is that works for everyone. We won't take more than one more person or a couple. Plenty of storage and common areas. You are welcome to use all that the house and garden offer. Term negotiable/flexible, short term also welcome. Couch bed available if needed.

About the flatmates

Thomas (German) is working from home, Lydia (Austrian) works full time in town (Lambton Quay area), Andrea (Canadian) works shifts in the Newtown Hospital.

What the flatmates do on a weeknight or weekend

We have Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training a few times a week.

Cooking and food arrangements

Cooking can be arranged as you prefer. You can have a cupboard of your own or share our stuff. Whatever works best for everyone.
We usually cook warm meals in the evening and have them together at the dinner table. There is lots of baking happening here, there's always bread or a cake floating around somewhere.

Cleaning arrangements

Same as cooking, we'll work something out that suits everyone. Generally everyone cleans up their own mess.

Additional comments

We're not a family, so no one will force you to have dinner with us. Everyone has their own lives and their privacy. We're not a random flat either so we'd like to find someone who is keen to share a bit of their living with us and is considerate of the house and living environment.
