Flat in NEWTOWN, Four or more Bedroom House, $125-$150/week

About the flat

We are close to the center of Newtown, on bus routes, close to supermarket, shops, zoo etc. We have a sweet house with wooden floors and all the things to make life nice - dishwasher, wireless broadband, outdoor fire, vege garden, sunny deck, a kitchen that's delicious to work in. The room for rent is very large, wooden floors, french doors.

About the flatmates

We are a varied bunch, a book publisher, massage therapist/artist, student, cartographer. That doesn't give too much info I guess! We have two toddlers in the house. They are pretty fun and in bed after 8pm so it's gotta be a little quiet after then.

What the flatmates do on a weeknight or weekend

On a typical weeknight one of us cooks for everyone and we all eat togethr - though it's not that common for al of us to be home at once. The kids are running around doing their bath, pajayma thing for a while then off to bed with them and we might have a quiet drink or be studying or whatever. The weekends are often a bit quiet as people are off doing this and that.

Cleaning arrangements

We don't mind the messiness of a persons room so long as they contribute to the general cleanliness of the house. We have one job a week each and all help out with the things that aren't on a roster like the dishes.

Additional comments

We are a little community, not that we spend all our time together but we are ideally looking for a flatmate that will be a part of our little flat family. We're all quite different but it's cool to interact with the kids a bit and enjoy each others company. And you can always help in the vege garden if you like!!
