Your privacy is taken seriously at nzflatmates. We will not give out personal information to any third parties whatsoever unless required to do so by law.

nzflatmates does not sell or rent your personal identification to third parties. 2. Email

It is the policy of nzflatmates to send our members email when using the web site including new matches and enquiries when the member has an active profile, plus occasional site updates, in addition to customary business communications (confirmation of registration, etc.). Further, it is our policy to immediately remove any member from any mailing lists upon the member's request.

3. Membership Registration

Our site's registration form requires you to provide us contact information and may also require demographic information. We may use your contact information from the registration form to send you information about our company and our services. Your contact information is also used to contact you when necessary.

4. Connecting with Facebook

As part of the functionality of nzflatmates you may connect your membership with Facebook. You represent that you are entitled to disclose your Facebook login information to nzflatmates/or grant nzflatmates access to your Facebook account.

If you decide to register by logging into Facebook via nzflatmates we will obtain and store some personal information you have provided to Facebook (such as your name, email address, profile picture, names of your friends, birthdays of your friends and other information you make publicly available via Facebook).

nzflatmates will never contact your friends or post on your Facebook wall or timeline without your permission. You can disconnect your Facebook account from nzflatmates at any time.

5. Updating Your Personal Information

nzflatmates provides you with ways in which you can alter your personal data, including changing your email address, password, phone number, etc.

6. Control of Your Password

You are responsible for all actions taken with your nzflatmates membership, email address and password. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your nzflatmates password to any third parties. If you choose to share your email address and password or your information with third parties, you are responsible for all actions taken with this information and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy.

7. The Security of Your Information

We work diligently to protect the security of your personal information. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by ensuring you logoff when you have finished visiting nzflatmates using a shared computer.

10. Membership Removal

If you wish to have your registration removed from our directory for any reason, simply send us an email requesting to be removed.

Some nzflatmates advertisers may request information directly from users, or link to sites that do so. nzflatmates has no control over its advertisers' privacy policies, and encourages users to review such policies prior to submitting any personal information to them. nzflatmates contains non-advertising links to a variety of third party sites to enhance the member experience. nzflatmates has no control of either the content or privacy policies of such sites, nor should such links be considered an endorsement of these sites except where otherwise noted.
