A double room is available in a sunny Mt Victoria flat. The room has a built-in wardrobe and is big enough for a double bed and other bits and pieces. You also have the option to buy the double bed off the out going flatmate.
The flat also comes with whiteware including microwave, oven, washing machine, clothes dryer, Ironing board and 2 fridges. Plenty of kitchen and fridge space for 3 people living together.
A modern bathroom with good shower pressure.
If you can't live without the internet we have a 60 gig plan which rarely goes over the limit! There is also Sky available and plenty of afternoon sun.
There are 2 existing flatmates. Two profession­al males (Chris whose 23 and Jono soon to turn 28) working for Kiwibank and Wellington City Council. Both are friendly, laidback and we all socialise together. Perhaps you could be the one to help us win the weekly pub quiz we go to?! We still can't get first!
We are situated 30 seconds from a dairy, 5 mins from Courtney Place and the Embassy Cinema, plus 7 mins from New World so practically a stones throw from the City itself. There are also bus stops right outside and across the road that head into the City, Suburbs and the Airport.
Parking is available with an on street parking permit.
We pay $188 a week plus $32 expenses (Sky, Internet, Power, cleaning products, other bits etc).
Socialising wise - we go out together but also do our own thing on other nights.
Cooking wise - we do our own cooking and shopping although Chris has occasionally cooked a fantastic roast for us but for some reason is never satisfied himself!
Cleaning arrangements - each flatmate does a specific area each week and we rotate the following week so no one flatmate does all the cleaning.
No pets, but smokers are ok.
Our ideal flatmate would be Friendly, considerat­e, clean, sociable, respectful­, relaxed and up for a laugh - AKA fun.

As the departing flatmate I envy whoever my replacement will be as they will meet two great guys who have made my time as a traveller in Wellington that much better. There not just flatmates that I've shared a shelf with, but have become good friends to.
