We are a professional couple with a young child, a cat and a dog. Our household is easy going but busy. We enjoy following NZ in most sports but especially rugby. Ian loves rugby, fishing, online poker, mafia wars and gardening. Lara loves reading, catching up with friends, shopping, crafts, baking and going to the gym.

Renting a warm, sunny, recently converted, furnished bedsit with single bed (if required), wardrobe, fridge, oil heater, mircrowave, kitchenette (incl utensils, crockery, toaster, electric jug), own bathroom. Can provide drawers and desk if needed, also towels, linen and blankets too. As there aren't cooking facilities apart from microwave/toaster, we will provide a good evening meal 5 nights per week (Sun - Thurs) (breakfast/lunch your own responsibility).

Clean and tidy, with fenced semi-private courtyard. Off-street parking. * you will need to arrange your own pre-paid internet connection * Cleaning and laundry will also be your own responsibility.

5 min walk to bus stops, 10-15 walk to shops - supermarket, chemist, restaurants, laundromat, library, takeaway shops, DVD store, doctors and pretty much everything else you might need.

Would suit an independent person (student or professional), who is fairly quiet, clean & tidy, reliable and honest. You must be tolerant of primary school aged children playing in the backyard at times - not multitudes but usually a couple. We would be happy to help an overseas student/new immigrant with their english and find their way around.

We've been caught out before so want someone who will be considerate and respect our property and we will be the same in return. Therefore we would like references please.
